A comment on the question "When is ExpanDrive getting Amazon S3 capabilities?" in ExpanDrive:
This is pretty awesome. I'm so glad you guys are devoting time to this. I hope you can get it right (I know that's why it's taking so long). I'm psyched to get decent S3 support. – bjtitus, on September 29, 2008 05:17

A comment on the question "Command List not working?" in Mozilla:
Thank you. I've been able to get commands working that I subscribe to so I'm not quite sure what the problem is there but this completely cleared it up for me. – bjtitus, on August 27, 2008 15:57

bjtitus asked a question in Mozilla on August 27, 2008 06:46:
Command List not working? The command list doesn't seem to be showing new commands that I've installed and, therefore, I don't know how to delete them. Don't know if you guys are experiencing this problem or not but thought I'd let ya know.
Absolutely amazing product by the way and I'm working on add-ons for it right now.
A comment on the question "On the iPhone it appears to be recording but it never goes live and it's not there after I hit stop either????" in Qik:
Your recording isn't working and so your profile is empty. When your profile is empty, random Qiks are shown. – bjtitus, on August 20, 2008 18:22
bjtitus replied on August 16, 2008 20:41 to the problem "Random startup at 6pm, iMacs and MacMinis" in Apple:
Several people seem to believe this is caused when a startup time is setup and then taken off. For some reason Leopard interprets "no startup time" as 0:00 UTC (which is probably 6:00pm if you do the conversion to your time zone).
One possible solution: Delete the /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.AutoWake.plist file
If that doesn't work you could also try setting a wake up time to some day & time when your mac will be on already and this should solve the problem.
Report back with whether this works. There are several threads in the Apple Support forums discussing this issue and several people claim to still have it.
Hopefully it can be fixed in the next release.

A comment on the problem "Brand new iMac - Powers up, shows apple, then screen goes black." in Apple:
Sounds like it could be hardware. You should run a hardware diagnostic test: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1509
This will at least give you a sense of whether it is a hardware problem or not. Post back with results. – bjtitus, on August 16, 2008 03:39
bjtitus replied on August 16, 2008 03:33 to the question "What's the easiest way to sync the iPhone with Google Calendar?" in Apple:
By far the best way to do this is NuevaSync. Not only can you sync calendars, but you can sync them using push, over the air! (Spanning Sync has now become useless with CalDav anyway). I would HIGHLY recommend NuevaSync and it also is able to sync your contacts and may soon sync Gmail via push!

bjtitus replied on August 16, 2008 03:24 to the problem "Random startup at 6pm, iMacs and MacMinis" in Apple:
How often has this happened (every night)? You need to make absolutely sure that it's not set by going to [System Preferences > Energy Saver > Schedule] and theoretically nothing should be checked there.
You can also try posting some logs from the Console (Applications/Utilities/Console.app) if it's waking up you should see the process that is waking up and if it's actually starting up you should tell us if it's happening exactly at 6:00pm.
Post the results of the following command ASAP:
pmset -g sched
There is also a bug in Leopard that may be causing this so report as soon as possible so we can let you know what to do.
A comment on the problem "Epic Fail Retail Experience" in Apple:
In defense of Apple, AT&T is notorious for screwing up billing and I haven't met a single AT&T employee who understood their plans completely. On the other hand, Apple also often has employees who are not as knowledgeable as they should be on matters like this. – bjtitus, on August 16, 2008 03:09
A comment on the problem "COMCAST - NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!" in Comcast:
Comcast's way of sending out techs is abominable at best. Almost every time a repair man comes out to my house they are late and at least 1/4 of the time they don't even show. Not to mention the fact that they rarely fix the problem without extra visits (luckily I have never had to pay for these repairs). Part of the problem is that they have contracted repairmen who do not in fact work for Comcast and this causes much confusion between the company and its customers. I would try giving as much info as you can to Mark up there and definitely document as much as you can (record calls, scan bills, etc.). If you can reach some of the customer service people they can help out if they are willing. – bjtitus, on August 15, 2008 15:16-
