Considering the first comment for the question defined peacefull to be "...no protestors interfering with the torch in any way (e.g. grabbing, dousing, jossling)" and that this was the case, the question should be settled as peacefull. Everyone knew exactly what peacfull was to be defined as and voiding the question would be extremley unfair to those that took the minority position.
Also, I have no money on this question

I posted this in the comments for the question but I'd like to put it here as well.
ASAT weapons destroy their targets using kinetic energy. There are no explosives involved, the terminal stage of the weapon simply rams the satalite at extreme speed rendering it useless. As there are no explosives involved it is extremely unlikley that the satalite will explode when it is hit by the ASAT. What will happen is that the satalite will be rendered useless and will continue in orbit for some period of time before re-entering the atmosphere.
This misconception about how ASAT weapons work is why the question should be voided. People are under the impression that the Navy is going to shoot a really big stinger missile at it or something, leading them to believe that it will be blown up.
In the sake of full diclosure I have H$ 80 on this question, but I could care less about it I just feel that the only way for this question to be fair is to void it.
blair21088 shared an idea in Hubdub on February 13, 2008 08:03:
Question creators should be able to Add/Remove news tags for heir questionsWould it be a good idea to add the ability for users to edit the tags portion of their created questions? As an example I created a question tonight about the recent Russian bomber flights into Japanese airspace and over the U.S.S. Nimitz.
http://www.hubdub.com/e/Market/Will_R...
The problem is that I didn't make good choices for my news tags and no news source were found for the topic. If I could edit the tags i could make them broader to hopefully get some stories. This could also help in cases where the tags are to general and unrelated news gets picked up, though the news ranking feature helps out in this situation.
Anyway, just a thought. Any comments?-

I think the cap is justified, though maybe it should be raised as more money enters the market. Looking at the H$ invested in your typical question H$10,000 is enough to raise the likelyhood for that particular outcome so high that you effectivley kill the question. Huge bets will only serve to muscle out the smaller players from questions they might have wanted to vote on.
Unless you have the opposite opinion on the outcome. Then you wait for the whale to go in, pick up the now tanked oposing choice and, hopefully, get a huge settlement while dancing merily on the carcass of a once great and noble titan of Hubdub prowess now undoubtedly cursing the world as his/her vast fourtune fades away into the distant depths of memory in a brief instant of agonizing despair :)

The problem with the %cap is there are legitimat questions that might have small percentages. As an example: Will parliment call for a no confidence vote in Gordon Brown by the end of 2008?
This happening is not at all likely but it is still a legitimate enws item and should be open to having a question made. Good starting odds for this might be 5% but probably lower.-
