WiFi and netbooks should be available in all chemo offering facilities. While sleeping is a good thing to do during chemo, not everyone can. And some treatments are 4 hours plus. The web is a great thing.

Phone app developers, theres a real need for an app I call ChemoBrain. Part To-Do List, Part Calendar. Tracks treatments, meds.

The ChemoBrain app would remind you of upcoming appointments, medication refills, and pull in trusted info about tests and meds.

Bad Customer Service = donations if you Blame Cancer

Say AT&T irritates you and you go to their customer service survey form. You slam them because the service sucked.

What if there was an option at the end that said:

"If you blame your bad experience on cancer, we will donate $5 to LIVESTRONG (or another foundation)"

This way, it lets a company say "Hey, we might have screwed up a bit, but we CARE.

Chemo Co-Pilot

I personally don't like going to chemo treatments alone. It's a regular regiment, go in, see the dr, sit for 3 hours and get the nasty stuff. They suggest that you sleep if you can. I never can. I like talking, chatting, having someone by my side. And I think that's ok. Mike Demers came up with the phrase "Chemo Co-Pilot" and I would love to offer that as a flagship service as we start our nonprofit.

Volunteers - Offer time/availability to go be a Co-Pilot for someone going through Chemotherapy

Chemo'zers - Share their treatment times and location.

We set up a match.
