Anahkiasen,
You can look at it two ways. One way is what us the current users will want the other one is what will make the company successful so that they can keep developing their product and have money to pay the rent.
Unfortunately the glitz will get them more customers. People saw the video and the few major parts of the video that attracted all of us here are missing. What will the reaction be from the general non-technical people when they saw those feathers and now they are no longer there? I can almost guarantee that a number of potential customers will walk away because they see no reason to buy the product. They will download the free version and either stay with it, or just play with it and forget it.
The important stuff is important but unfortunately it will not bring more customers, which will mean that they will have the $$$ to keep developing this. I say put in the glitz and then work on the things that is not in the video. The reaction at the show and the subsequent video is what brought attention to the product and the product needs to have all those options so that the excitement builds and the company can make $$$, then they can develop the other stuff.

Anand,
I am Just giving you inputs you have a nice product. But the free VS. pro features that are listed will not let users go pro.
They are a minor inconvenience and not true feature enhancements.
Things that will get people excited are true enhancements such as multiple rooms, network based picture frames. Some the suggestions in the forums will make people spend the money.

Actually this idea can work now (to some degree).... just create a folder under the desktop and create a 3D Image /Icon of a door or something else on it. There post a folder that is bumped but in the same view as the bump top and then go to town on it.
Just grow that object so the physics do not apply to it and you are good to go.
Hope this helps a bit... too bad you can not have items to interact with on it.
Also a good suggestion is to have something non interactive aka stationary and no physics attached to it such as my fireplace and doors.
Take a look!

Also take a look at the bump this folder, I have not been able to post it yet but you can not enable the bump this folder as the XP button does not appear when enabled.
No matter what you do this button does not show up in explorer.
Sorry had to roll back since problem was pretty big in this version even though wanted to use the new features. Looking forward to the update.

Bump this folder not working correctlyBump this folder is not working at a number of areas. Example select a folder on C drive and bump it... example C:/DVD. What I get is a link under C: called DVD.bumptop but inside the DVD folder nothing changes. If you go inside of DVD.bumptop the folder is actually using bumptop but when you exit from there the folder is gone. Also at that time the bumptop.scene file gets created in the folder DVD.
This is happening all the time with folders that are immediately off of C drive. When you go in one more level it works just fine.
User has administration priv. and system is Windows XP.
