Ben Weiner replied on November 02, 2009 07:53 to the question "Wrong e-mail in registration" in dailymile:
Hey guys,
Sorry for the delayed response, not sure how we missed this open question. If you email contact [at] dailymile.com with the email you used to sign up with and the one you'd like to change it to we can take care of it for you.
@Brian We do check email addresses to make sure they're valid (and let you know when registering if you aren't) by matching against a spec (rfc822). We'll look into modifying this to handle just common patterns.
Ben

Ben Weiner replied on October 12, 2009 21:13 to the question "Privacy Options: Why are my friends-only routes visible to everyone?" in dailymile:
So sorry about this! We understand privacy is a concern. If you mark your routes as viewable only by friends, they should not show your username and avatar.
One thing to note is that currently the privacy options are on a per route basis, so you'll have to toggle the route as viewable by friends for each you create. We'll be adding a setting allow you to default to one or the other.
If you did toggle this for each route then this is a bug. If you email contact [at] dailymile.com with your username then we can investigate this further.

A few people accidentally created multiple runs earlier today when we had some networking problems. Sorry about that!
You can delete a workout that you've added by clicking the 'Edit' link that you'll see on your homepage, your profile, or on the page to view the workout. Once you click that, you'll see a link at the top that says 'delete' in a red font. Let me know if you have any trouble.

Hi Evelyn,
You can modify your email address and username from the account settings page. When you're logged in on the homepage you'll see a link that says 'Settings' to the left of Inbox on the right sidebar. Here's the URL:

Ben Weiner replied on September 02, 2009 04:49 to the question "Can I block random people??" in dailymile:
So sorry about this Patty! As Cyberpenguin said, we're working on privacy settings and ways to block people. We also have community guidelines (http://www.dailymile.com/help/community) for dailymile and so if you're being harassed then those people may be asked to leave. If you send us mail to contact [at] dailymile.com and let us know what's going on then we can help.
