Okay. Thanks. That makes a lot of sense. However, it does still leave me slightly confused.


Check out the attached image. How come the bottom post has a score of 1. while the top post has a score of 6.1? This confuses me because the bottom one seems to score massively higher on every other metric.

I am sorry that this is not more obvious. However, the good news is you can do it. Go to account settings > team info and then click the edit link next to your profile. You can edit your email there.

Hi Neil,
thanks for your comment relating to this. We are certainly listening to the feedback on this subject.

One thing I would say, is that I would advise against using the same password across multiple sites. This leaves you very vulnerable. I tend to generate a password based on some aspect of the site like the URL. I then use a tool like 1password to manage these for me.

Thanks Robert for bothering to look into that. I wasn't aware that was an option. After further consideration however I have decided to remove that functionality entirely. It is slowing the loading of the page and adds little real value because users can contact me directly.

I appreciate your hard work though :)

I am really sorry but that functionality does not currently exist. It is something that is on our list of things to do but it will be a while before it is implemented.

Hi Bob,
I do understand your concern over this and we thought long and hard about this decision. Basically it is a trade off between security and ease of use.

The problem is that clients have trouble remembering their passwords and we wanted to keep delays and admin down to a minimum.

In the end we decided that so little extremely sensitive information was held on the system that ease of use was more important.

I don't have ads on the site... are you referring to the podcast? Even with the podcast we do not have third party advertising. What is it you object to?
