Good question! If you are both Xumii users, you can see when each other is online with Xumii and can chat mobile-to-mobile.
We are ready for mobile-to-desktop Facebook chat, but need to wait for Facebook to open up its chat feature via Jabber, which was announced back in May but is still being worked on by Facebook.
