I'm sorry Bob, I covered all possible names you can have in my first reply. If you try to follow my instructions you can change the name that is displayed on any future changes you make in a wiki.

Let me know where you are having trouble following me.

What I didn't mention is that you cannot change the name displayed on any past changes you made to pages in a wiki. The only way to remove the name attached to a page or version of a page is to delete the page or page version that the name is attached to.

You can always see all the versions of a page by scrolling to the botttom of a page and clicking on History.

These answers do not help because i can change my name. What I cannot change is the "nick name?" or "user name?" that identies my when I edit. This is not my name or email address ( as I said in the question),

In general, the user name is chosen by you when you log into a wiki using an invite key, or when you set up a PBwiki account and use that to log into a wiki.

You can change either one.

1. Login by invite key:
Go to the wiki, while logging in (on the left side), you'll see the "name" field. This is how you are known in the wiki. You can change it any time you log in. If you are already logged in when you arrive at the wiki, then log out, and then log in to change your name.

2. Login by PBwiki Account:
Go to your PBA by going to http://my.pbwiki.com
Go to the Profile tab
Make a change to your name and save it
