UPDATE: A while ago I was notified via the tray icon that a Counterspy software update was available, so I tried to update and rec'd the same error. I then went and found the link to the "CS&VClean.exe" file posted in another recent thread and downloaded and ran it, then rebooted as instructed. I then went out and found the Counterspy installation package (CSC_EN.3.1.2710.exe) which had been downloaded automatically for me located in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Sunbelt\AntiMalware\Downloads\. I ran it and it proceeded to install Counterspy just fine. I rebooted and now I have version 3.1.2710 running and all seems well. Seems like all I really needed in the first place was a good, clean uninstall of Counterspy, which is what the CS&VClean.exe provided. I don't think it had anything to do with a Windows scripting issue as I've read elsewhere and also suggested by the person who responded to my email to Support.
P.S. This version loads fairly quickly after clicking the icon in the tray, unlike the previous version, which took a long time to load.

Error 1720 on Counterspy Software UpdateI have a "Software Update is available" message in the tray (XP) and when I click "Update Software Now" I get the message attached and when I click OK, Counterspy seemingly shuts down. I tried uninstalling Counterspy (full uninstall) and re-installing it, but that has not helped. Please advise. The current version I have installed 3.1.2416. Thanks.

Automatic Updates not workingI am running CounterSpy v3.1.2416 under Windows XP SP3 and despite having Automatic Updates enabled and set to check for updates every 12 hours, I am not getting updates unless I do it manually. At what time is this 12 hour interval based upon? My PC is typically turned off between approx 10pm and 6:30am and also from 7:30am until about 5pm.
