Amy, I was recently helped via the Get Satisfaction website and my problem was solved by a participating Dell employee. I received a new AC adapter from Dell within 2 days! QUESTION The Dell employee suggested that I remove my Dell service tag number and my address from my posting in my Get Satisfaction account. Can I edit this out myself?... or can you do this for me? If you can, please go ahead and do it. If I can do it, how do I proceed? My email address is fbk98@aol.com

I have had this problem too. It was intermittent right around the time my warranty expired on April 22, 2008 so I didn't know even know it was a prevalent problem from a product defect of some sort. Now I see where this is a real problem with many Dell laptops. I love my Dell E1505 and think this is unfair that I am now learning why the AC adapter fails or isn't recognized! Since my warranty just recently expired can you send me a new 65 watt adapter? My Dell service tag number is [Removed at the request of customer]
