I'm implementing a way that it will automatically increment the selected day at midnight in an upcoming version. – Justin Williams, on May 20, 2008 13:10

@Justin
It answers the question in an "Apple" sort of way. You described a workaround so one can only assume the answer is "because we didn't design it that way".
That's not necessarily bad but I too would like at least an option to have it default to "Today". I'm a very busy person, have little need to see anything other than "Today" and on the rare occasions I've switched the date have later missed it until I puzzled over why the list looked odd. If an option to default is difficult how about some sort of obvious decoration when the day is not "Today"?

Why doesn't Today default to today?When I open Today from the menu bar, it shows me a day other than the present day. I would think the default would be to the present day. Am I right?

Adding Event won't repeat it.I think that the "add an event" part of the application should have the ability to repeat the event just as iCal has.
