me too, I have automator set so Today is on my desktop when i first look at my Mac in the morning. Would be nice to autmoatically see "today's" events as the default

Hi, I don't have a timeframe for that yet. It's not in the 1.2 release. Once I get that out, I'll sift through the feature list, see what's most requested and pop those into the next release.

It answers the question in an "Apple" sort of way. You described a workaround so one can only assume the answer is "because we didn't design it that way".

That's not necessarily bad but I too would like at least an option to have it default to "Today". I'm a very busy person, have little need to see anything other than "Today" and on the rare occasions I've switched the date have later missed it until I puzzled over why the list looked odd. If an option to default is difficult how about some sort of obvious decoration when the day is not "Today"?

If you click on the "Today is" section it will update the date browser to go to the current day.

I think that the "add an event" part of the application should have the ability to repeat the event just as iCal has.
