Resolve shortened URLs before posting to DeliciousI love the "bookmark to delicious" option. Unfortunately it always bookmarks my preshortened urls, rather than the destination. It would be great if Ping.fm resolved shortened urls from popular services before bookmarking them in delicious.
See what I mean in my Delicious bookmarks

Pownce profile vcard inaccuracy ... easy fix :)The main vcard on my Pownce profile claims that Justin H. is both my "fn" and "nickname", despite Pownce knowing that it's not actually my full, formatted name. While I applaud Pownce's Microformats efforts thus far, knowingly spreading false information doesn't help the cause at all. Please remove the "fn" designation from the profile vcards.

A comment on the idea "Delicious should support the XFN standard." in Delicious:
Hopefully the whole internet :)
The beauty of XFN is that it transcends an individual site. If you look at my profile or contacts on Get Satisfaction, you don't get a very good picture of who I am, or who I know. If you add my Delicious contacts, things become a bit more clear. But if you could add metadata gathered from my entire social graph, spread out over every profile and every site I frequent, you begin to know who I am.
In order for XFN to work, users need to have the ability to link profiles. I can add links to all of my profiles (for example, using a service like Profilactic.com), but this does me no good unless each of those sites allow me to link back, creating a bi-directional link.
If you'd like to see it in action, check out Socialsearchme.com. It is an early stage spider for XFN. Notice that my profile currently contains only the sites which allow bi-directional rel="me" links. – bobthecow, on September 01, 2008 16:27

Get Satisfaction should support the XFN standard.Get Satisfaction profiles could be made compatible with the XFN standard by simply adding a rel="me" attribute to blog, twitter, and website links, and rel="friend" to links to contacts.

Delicious should support the XFN standard. It would be great if Delicious supported the XFN standard. This could be as simple as adding rel="me" to the site link at the top of my bookmarks page. Extra bonus points are available if you add rel="friend" to all my network links :)
