If you use Dropzone (on the mac) with the Dropbox extension there ́s another extension in the Github repository which supposedly also uploads to Google Docs. A temporary solution at least.

I saw the plugin folder in the app, that ́s why I thought of this. And I see that it ́s impossible in the current Eventbox, but I still think, if you wanted to, you could generalize plugins into sets of rules in the main app which could be activated through descriptive files including adresses to the service ́s endpoints (CRUD,favicon,etc.)

How about generalizing and abstracting the plugging in of different services to be able to activate new services by YAML (or XML or whatever) files, so that people could easily write their own "plugins", add them to a repository, and perhaps easily download the descriptive files from within Eventbox ?

When commenting for the second time on an item in my home stream and both times choosing to also post it as a @reply on twitter, the second time it gets posted as a reply to myself on twitter instead of to the original twitter poster (as for the first comment).

The basic/automatic installation of ID on Tumblr doesn't necessarily work. At least my "Comments" hyperlinks link to the permalink for every story and just shows the same link again there.

Also when I choose "reinstall" I do not get the same options only for Typepad.

Also when I change the link texts under settings, the links don't change on my Tumblr site.

Wouldn't this duplicate a lot of info on the web ? Isn't the sensible alternative just to trackback ? Which reminds me that Tumblr should at least automatically trackback to the original article.

Bookmarklet on iPhone

If you add the tumblr bookmarklet to Safari and choose to sync bookmarks as well in iTunes, you can easily blog photos, texts or links from you iPhone as well. Quotes are difficult because you can't actually select any text on the iPhone (yet!), and most videos (other than youtube) you can't see on Mobile Safari but else it works great ! One gripe I have though is that the bookmarklet share window could be more adapted to Mobile Safari because now it starts out very small and also you can not scroll down when selecting a photo.

The bookmarklet is much more useful than the Tumblr iPhone native apps in my opinion, because the apps have to be started manually and are not context sensitive.
