Thanks very much! I know it's a pain to keep up with another company's design and structure changes, but it's much appreciated. – Sarah Lewis, on December 04, 2008 15:11

Use a default date/time for the "Later" optionThe date picker for scheduling tweets is pretty nice, but it'd be great if the date/time defaulted to the current date/time (or if you really want to get fancy, maybe an hour or two [configurable?] after the furthest-out scheduled tweet?).
No doubt I'd still tweak it a little, but it would save a few clicks, and when I'm on a roll, that's helpful.-

I *think* it's Twitterfeed truncating in this case, because it was the pre-link portion (the main comment) that got truncated, rather than the whole tweet, and also because the full tweet isn't shown even when looking at it by itself. Typically when Twitter does the truncating, they cut off the last characters, and the full tweet is available when you view it by itself.
I'm happy to do any test tweets that would be helpful in sorting it out! – Sarah Lewis, on December 03, 2008 23:24-

Only post during certain time windowsI'd love to see a setting to have Twitterfeed only post during certain hours. I'm using it to post links that I bookmark on Delicious, but things posted in the middle of the night don't tend to get much attention.-

Here's an example of a tweet getting prematurely truncated:

The original item: Really like the free UserVoice service-perfect for letting users request features. I'll use it on all my new web apps.
And original link: http://tr.im/1r99
I've asked Twitterfeed to tweet the description and link, with no pre-string, so it should come to 136 characters, assuming a space between the description and the link.
I can shorten my tweets, I guess, but I'd really rather use the full 140 characters when possible. It's pretty tricky to shorten that much, sometimes. :)-
