Make shared notes in Google Reader per permalink available via APIAs I just posted in the Intense Debate feedback, it would be great to be able to access all the shared notes for a particular permalink, which would allow the site owner to see all of the feedback in one place.
As far as I can tell from the API, this is not currently possible.
Desired API behaviour would be to pass in the permalink as an argument, and get back all the shared notes.

Aggregate comments from everywhere"Comments" are happening in many more different places than just the comment input form on the original post.
Increasingly, it's hard to follow conversations across not just different blogs (where trackbacks / pingbacks still work), but also in Google Reader "shared notes" and on Friendfeed.
There is already a Friendfeed comments plugin, but really, if I'm going to install Intense Debate, I'd love to see the service take care of grabbing all the comments for each permalinked post from such remote services.

Change "signups" of companies by end users to make it distinctive from employee-created companiesI've entered in several companies in the past, looking to put all my feedback on GS regardless of whether the company is looking or not. It makes it easy for me to point other people at it, and sometimes the company finds it, too.
With your for pay stuff, end users creating new "free" companies is complicated -- it feels like I'm actually "owning" the company.

Online banking continuously prompts me to register my computerI pretty much have to "register" my computer every single time I log on to the online banking site. Please fix!

Optionally use comment as the content of Twitter postsI like the option to directly link to the source URL when posting to Twitter from friendfeed. Often, the "meat" of it is actually in my comment on the item. I'd love to have the option to have either the title of the linked item (as it works now) or to have the first N characters as the content of the twitter post, with the link at the end.

Plain vs. HTML email should be wizardized and hiddenI'm enjoying the tbird beta 3. Still way too much complexity for the average user. Why do I keep getting prompted for this Plain vs. HTML nonsense? Why are there all these "message attachments" when it looks like my image is inline.
A lot of these options, especially with auto-setup of Gmail, can and should be streamlined as part of the original wizard setup, please.

Don't have invite friends as the first screen when signing upI know you really really want more people signed up ... but this is a big turn off for me. I haven't even USED the service yet, and you already want me to invite people.
Consider having a "new signup checklist" that includes inviting friends, and making it easy to get there.
And actually, consider calling it "find friends" -- I definitely do want to be connected with people already on the site.

This is the first I heard about the reseller fees. Doesn't seem like a good fit for my situation -- occasional recommendation / usage. Via Twitter, @brettw pointed me at the Affliate Program, which looks good: http://system.goodbarry.com/affiliates

Integration with desktop appsLet's make an open thread for integration with different desktop apps.

LDAP supportI've been a user of Highrise in the past, but ultimately the complete non integration onto anything on the desktop was a dealbreaker for me.
One of the easy easy things that I would pay money for if implemented would be LDAP support for contacts. Using this, people could have their Batchblue contacts display in their Mac OS X Address Book and their Outlook Address Book on Windows.-

Post higher quality picturesHi Vancouver Sun! Nice job on your new make over. I've been reading the new website and am pleased that you have more pictures and multimedia associated with stories.
However, the pictures are very granulated / pixelated and appear over-compressed. Please make the pictures higher quality: I'm not asking for giant high resolution ones, just make the ones you post crisp and not terrible looking. Thanks!
