Don't worry, I think I have sussed it out.
I need the @b and ^ signs when emailling a blog... although if I leave my default at Status Updates, some blogs get posted without it.
Not sure about the answer to my question about which title is used still, as I have only tried it with both set to the same text so far... but I am assuming it's using the @b line title, as the text isnt repeated in the posts.
great service you have made :)

This might be a clue... I just set the default back to Status Updates and tried and the post went through fine.
Maybe I do need to add the @b and ^ signs when emailling a blog post even if that is the default?
What will happen to the email title if I do that? Will the text between the @b and ^ be the title or will the actual email title?
(guess i will try that whilst waiting for an answer)
Brad asked a question in Ping.fm on November 01, 2008 22:18:
Email posting has stopped workingI setup a script on my website to send a email update of new stuff added to the site each day.
I tested it yesterday and it worked fine, with the post showing up on about 10 social network sites.
Today when I try it, it seems to not be working.
I read this wiki http://pingfm.pbwiki.com/Messages-not...
And double checked I have eveything correct, like the email address etc.
I'm not adding a @b in the post as I have my default set to blog post.
I've sent 3 email posts today, the first one was about 4 hours ago. I have it set to send me a copy so the emails are definitely leaving.
Is there any way to check at your end if they arriving?
Thanks for any help or suggestions :)
*Edit: Forgot to mention, I have tried posting from ping.fm dashboard and that works fine
