John, thanks - I did an unsuccesful import of accounts from Money immediately after install, which must've wiped out all the categories. A reinstall fixed it. Cheers! – zzbthi, on March 02, 2009 21:29 -

Categories list emptyI've just installed MoneyDance 2008 r3(631). The help file says that "...Moneydance begins each user file with a standard set of income and expense categories" however when I look at the list of categories (Tools, Edit Categories) the list is empty, but for one entry simply labeled "expense".
What should I expect to find there? I can see how I can enter my own categories, but I really was expecting to find some basic ones that I could start with here.
