bradley asked a question in Spreedly on September 21, 2009 16:29:
What happens when a trial expires? What happens exactly when a free trial expires?
Does the user get a notification?
Does an admin get a notification?
Can I customize any notification emails?
So far as I've been able to discern the answers to these questions is "No" which is rather disappointing.
Being able to manage what happens with these users is going to be key in increasing conversions from trial to paid accounts.
Would love some insight as to what happens during this process and when we'll be able to better manage it. Thanks!-

bradley replied on September 20, 2009 18:18 to the question "Favorites Lagging" in Squeejee:
Craig, favorites are a little tricky... there are two main issues:
1. It is impossible for us to display your favorites in the order that they were marked as a favorite. Twitter does not supply the date/time of a favorite in the meta data. Because of this we are ordering them by status_id, which means the newest tweet (regardless of when you favorited it), will be first... and so on. So, if you marked an older tweet as a favorite, it would show up further down your list. We're exploring workarounds for this.
2. The twitter api around favorites is a little flaky in that we have to sync ALL of your favorites every single time. When someone has as many favorites as you do, there is bound to be a certain number of times when connecting to the twitter api fails for various reasons and stops the syncing process. If this happens many times in a row, it could cause a delay in syncing favorites.
In any case, I just ran a manual sync on your favorites and they should all be in the system, just keep in mind the ordering issue.

Craig, everything with your subscription looks okay in our system. Try clearing your browser cache and cookies and restart your browser. If you've logged into twitter with another account, sometimes the oauth tokens get overwritten/cached incorrectly in the browser.
After reloading your browser, you might try first logging into Twitter.com with your screen name 'craigswanson' and then attempt to log in to TweetSaver.
Let me know if that works! Thanks!

I really like the app! (and some feedback)Love the concept and what you guys are doing... my experience so far has been pretty good for a freshly launched app! So congrats on being runner up at TC50 and I wish you the best of luck!
Here is some general feedback from my experience so far:
- signup process was a little clunky, spent some time confused about why I couldn't add facebook on the same screen as the emails/twitter
- the first time I tried my google app based email it failed and I couldn't figure out why... turns out it was because I wanted to use my aliased email that is set as the primary email for the account, rather than the base google app default. Not sure if other people will run into this.
- I couldn't seem to get the @ and rt buttons in the unbound section to do anything... the @ and rt buttons (for all sections) should really pre-populate based on the action selected.. ie, @username or RT @username the tweet text here. I tried doing a retweet and based on the UI expected threadsy to automatically add the @username to my tweet, it did not, so my tweet looked rather stupid.
- even though I've authorized facebook I'm not seeing any FB content yet, just a fetching messages ballon
- you should really autolink things like twitter usernames in the inbound section as well, (imho)

David, I checked our database for you and did a manual, re-sync. We are showing that you have 410 tweets stored in our system. Are you able to see them now? Feel free to email me directly at bradley[at]squeejee.com – bradley, on September 15, 2009 20:50
