Thanks for the quick response. The worst thing is that the "status" sets to "SENT" and there is nothing that the user can do about it, other than retyping it all in.
If it would be easier to code in a "reset" option to change the flag back to "unsent", then I guess that would do. (but people would have to be aware that this may happen on pay-to-use wifi access points). -

I'm guessing that you have done something at your end, as the Blog Settings downloaded correctly when I attempted at about 9:35am.
Both my Blogger and Twitter accounts are now working again with Lifecast.

Lifecast needs a Re-Send option or check to ensure posts have been correctly sent.While I was away on holiday recently in Portugal, I was writing new Blog posts but away from any net access. I didn't see this as a problem, as I was sure I'd find free WiFi at some point. Actually this was much more difficult than I thought.... access is VERY sparse there, and interestingly I later saw a bit on TV about broadband access throughout Europe, and they have the lowest penetration, so I guess that answers why I couldn't find any WiFi points! :)
Anyway, at one point I did find what looked like an Unsecured WiFi point and thought I'd quickly send a few blog posts that I had written. The problem was that although the iphone did connect, it was one of those, have to pay for access connections.
And more specifically, Lifecast didn't seem to check that the posts were REALLY posted... it just seemed to send them into the void :(
Now that it THINKS they have been posted, it shows a tick against the post, and I can't now resend them :(
Can I suggest that either the software needs to check somehow that the posts have REALLY been posted, or there definitely needs to be a "RePost" option.
Or maybe a "copy" option to a new post, maybe even to your other blog accounts... now that would be good ;)
Now I'm going to retype all the posts... and of course, typically they were nice long ones!
Unless anyone has any other suggestions of course? -

You said earlier about checking the logs... Just for your reference, I've tried to download the settings about 4 times now since just gone 8am (UK Time) this morning. -

Before when I tried to go to "BLOG SETTINGS" then into "ADD A BLOG" it DID come up with an error saying something like "it couldn't download the data from the server" (or similar to that).
Now when I go into the same "Add a Blog" settings it says ""Downloading settings..." and the little progress bar does it's circle thing....
.... But then nothing else happens, no settings get downloaded (or at least as far as I can see).
I've tried it while connected via wifi, 3g and normal phone connection. Nothing works.
HELP!! :) -

Can't seem to download Blog Settings info after version updateI've had a few issues where Lifecast seems to have just forgotton or confused my Blog settings in the past, but by deleting the blog settings and re-entering has always sorted the problem.
But this time, both my Blogger and Twiiter lifecast accounts failed to work, but the program simply refuses to download new available blog settings, so I can't actually put my correct details back in :(
This seemed to happen after I did the latest Lilfecast version update.
I don't want to try uninstalling and reinstalling in case it loses all my current posts. I've just been holiday, away from net access, and I really want to get these posts uploaded to my blog asap.
ANY help would be appreciated!!!!
