Thomas, i checked the upload window, but the file doesn't get uploaded, whereas when i rename the file and try to upload it, it does show up.

@Luzius: having the same size and the modification date seems to be the cause of the 'problem', even though content was updated.

@computerwiz12890: unchecking that option in Truecrypt has solved the problem, Wuala now prompts me a question of what to do when i try to re-upload the file.

The updated file gets put back into Wuala by hand. If Wuala would indeed look at the content, it should see that it needs te re-upload it, rather than use the cached version (the upload seems instantaneous)

Unfortunately, that was not the case. To reproduce the problem:

1. download a truecrypt file from the Wuala account
2. mount it, change or add a file
3. unmount, upload it back to Wuala
4. from a different computer, download the tc file again
5. the tc file holds the old information

Since truecrypt volumes have fixed sizes, Wuala might simply check whether a file is updated by looking at its size, rather than calculating a hash.
