Barbara -
For Metal Rails, you should be able to find what you are looking for at Planet Bed:
http://www.planetbed.com/bed-frames.html
There, you will find Hook-On and Bolt-On rails, as well as Bed Frames, depending on what you are needing. If you are not sure what you need, let us know and we'll help find the best solution for you.

Carl,
I am not aware of any extensions for hook-on style beds which could safely add length to the bed. It sounds like you need to upgrade from Full-Size rails to Queen-Size. We have both wood and metal styles of rails available, which you can see using this link:

Let us know if you have any more questions. Thanks!

David,
Modi-Plates are designed to work with a Bolt-On bed frame and headboard. The best suggestion I have would be some converter rails:
http://www.planetbed.com/bed-frames/c...
Those are designed to achieve a double-to-queen conversion, and are the safest way to do this, short of getting a Queen headboard and footboard. Due to the nature of Hook-On beds, no bracket has been designed which can safely convert the width.
Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!

Walter,
Depending on the glide you need, you can find some of them at the following website: http://www.furniturepartsonline.com/g...
If you need one that is not listed there, you can also call and place an order on the telephone with one of our representatives, who will be able to get you the correct quantity and calculate shipping charges. (1-800-823-4233)
Hope that helps. Let us know if you have any questions. Thanks.

Brandon replied on June 13, 2009 07:21 to the question "converting queen headboard to king mattress" in Homeplace Group:
Danny,
Do you have a bolt-on headboard and frame? Assuming this, you could use the Bed Claw King Modi-Plate, which is designed for attaching a Queen Headboard to a King frame, or vice-versa.
Take a look at it and see if that will work for you:

Hope that helps, just let us know. Thanks.
