Great class, should be a CIT requirement
By taking this course, I have been able to create a professional, well designed, and all-around exceptional portfolio that makes me very attractive to potential employers.

I did know a lot about maintaining websites and using a CMS before this class. However, in this class, I learned how to make a website from start to finish and what the current tools are.

As every CIT student should have an online portfolio before graduating, this course should be a requirement for the major. I would even say that it should be a requirement for students in some tracks of the IT program.

Good choice on switching to WP. If you log-in to the admin panel (if you don't know how, go to http://cnbarlow.com/wp-admin and log in), go down to Settings > Permalinks on the left side panel. Then you can just select the "Day and name" setting or "Month and name". I'm current using "Day and name", but I might change to the month one. Then just click save and you're done.
