I also rely on Twitter Search (formerly Summize) to show me @replies from public accounts in case I missed some of them.

They have a search parameter called TO that limits the search results only to @replies directed at a particular user.

For example, to:jenncutter returns all public @replies addressed to @jenncutter.

Yeah i am still having the issue. I am able to see them in applications outside of the twitter web page so I am not missing anything as far as I can tell.

Argh, I've had a mostly empty replies tab for almost a week now with no end in sight. I see the odd reply now and then but I have to respond to it right away because I know it will be gone the next time I come back. Also, when I reply, the message I replied to stops showing up in my tab and it's all blank again. This is very very very frustrating.
