As a further note before you visit the https://secure.clearbooks.co.uk/home/... page you need to make sure that in the top right you have selected to be logged in as your business otherwise it will invite them to view your personal account.
This should be ironed out when Tim removes it from the default menu.

With regards to adding your business partner if you go to
https://secure.clearbooks.co.uk/home/...
Enter their email and click invite then they should get a Fubra Passport invite and be able to access your business.

Hi Benjamin,
This is to do with Clearbooks using the Fubra Passport for login, your Fubra passport is an individual account and you can associate it to one or mor companies. There are two reasons for this one is that most Fubra Passport users are individuals not companies currently and two is that Clearbooks is still implementing it. Your suggestion is a good idea and I am sure Tim will get it to default to your company rather than your personal account.
It's worth noting if you are really keen on keeping good records you cold use the personal account to complete your own personal accounts to use for self assessment or self employed status in the future which is a feature we are considering improving.
Thanks for the feedback.

Brendan shared an idea in Clear Books on April 22, 2009 18:10:
Add a 'Debt agreement' featureI would like a feature where you can add a new finance agreement so for example if I agree an overdraft or asset back loan facility or use invoice discount finance I can enter in the Interest rate any set-up fees and any redemption fees this can then make the system aware of any pre-agreed credit terms our business has which can be represented in the graphs and forecast what each form of credit is costing my business.
