    Questions/Comments for a Fido Representative - Please clarify these things for me
    I have two questions for a Fido representative here.

    1. Is there a bundle for the iPhone 3GS where I can have call display with NAME DISPLAY? I'm currently subscribing to the $10 iPhone value pack and I was told by a Fido rep that there is NO WAY I CAN ADD NAME DISPLAY. Why is there this limitation if what that rep said is true? MAKES NO SENSE!
    2. I would like to say that paying per use for MMS is stupid when Koodo, Rogers, etc.. include it with their text plans. I for one vote to have picture/video messaging included in the plans as they are right now. Koodo offers the same pricing for the rate plans, ie. $25 = 100 minutes per second billing, Free Eve/Weekends 7pm and Unlimited Text/Picture/Video messaging!! What's the deal Fido?

    I called technical support this morning. They helped me fix the problem. Apparently some iPhone's do this often so there is a built in option to "reset network settings".

    For anyone else, if you cannot detect the Fido/Rogers network on your iPhone 3GS or 3G (ie. your iPhone says No Service or is constantly Searching...) follow these steps in resolving it.

    1. Disable 3G in Settings/General/Network
    2. Power off the iPhone by holding the top lock button down then sliding to power off, leave the phone off for 30 seconds
    3. Power on the iPhone
    4. Reset network settings in Settings/General/Reset
    5. Turn on 3G
    6. You should be able to find the Fido/Rogers network now

    iPhone 3GS No Service problem. It's been an hour now, what's the deal? This is the second time it has happened within two months, the last time lasted a few hours! Not happy!

    This is within my home which usually gets service just fine, but now the phone is in "searching mode" and comes up no service every time.
