Super-super sorry about this Michael –– Flow 1.1 just entered pre-release testing. If you'd like to get on board with testing a pre-release build, shoot me an e-mail at brian <at> extendmac (dot) com</at> – Brian Amerige, on September 30, 2008 02:54-

Brian Amerige reported a problem in Get Satisfaction on September 26, 2008 16:05:
Customized helpcenter is taking *forever* to buildI clicked "Create customized download" last night at around 10 PM –– it's _still_ not finished. I think this is because about 3 minutes into the customization process, I was redirected to a page which said Get Satisfaction was under maintenance.
Did my customization process get killed during maintenance, or what's happening?
A comment on the problem "file corruption" in Extendmac:
Just a quick update on this –– I'm 99% sure this issue has been resolved in the latest internal builds. I'll have verification in a few days :) – Brian Amerige, on September 04, 2008 07:20

Brian Amerige replied on August 29, 2008 16:38 to the problem "listing error" in Extendmac:
Hmm, what's happening is that it's failing to enter passive mode, and so it falls back to a few others (Extended Passive Mode, Extended Data Port Mode, specifically), which are not supported by your server.
After it spits out "500 Unknown command EPRT", does it continue to try in active mode, or just stumbles after the unknown command?
If you could paste the entire transcript (replacing server and username with arbitrary values), that'd be great.
Brian Amerige replied on August 27, 2008 19:52 to the problem "Give FLOW a miss, folks." in Extendmac:
When you say you "restarted Flow...to list contents of remote directories", that was when you could nab the connection transcript.
As for "other users...[reporting]... similar frustration", this is a support forum. People come here for help. They don't come here to say "everything is working just fine!" like the vast majority of Flow users would report. Take a look at Apple's discussion forums. Using that naive attitude, you'd conclude they have faulty products.

I'm plenty willing to get your issue resolved, but completely unwilling to deal with your attitude. If you want to trade insults, do so with /dev/null. If you want _actual help with resolving issues between your server-software and Flow_, I'll be here.
Best,
Brian.

The next version of Flow, 1.1, should fix this issue. Hang tight! – Brian Amerige, on August 27, 2008 01:50
Brian Amerige replied on August 27, 2008 01:48 to the problem "Give FLOW a miss, folks." in Extendmac:
Sorry to hear you're having issues.
If you'd like to get these issues resolved, please post your connection transcript ("View" menu, "Show Connection Transcript") here, or e-mail it to support@extendmac.com.
That being said, you should know that your troubles with Flow are rather rare. Flow isn't a "miss" being there are some discrepancies between your server and Flow, and if you'd like help getting them resolved, I think we could do without the blasphemous titles that have _nothing_ to do with the issue at hand.
