BRIC Entertainment asked a question in BRIC Entertainment on February 14, 2009 00:58:
Why the name change? Many of you are probably wondering why the name change? Long story short, bric entertainment was contacted by the original creators of Photo Hunt requesting that we honor their name and trademarks to avoid customer confusion around the branding. Although we did not feel that we infringed upon their brand and image, it was decided that we should comply with Merit Entertainment's request and to ultimately change our name.

Photo Eye-Q now available for FREE in iTunes *Limited time*bric entertainment is proud to announce the re-launch of our popular game Photo Hunter. Now re-branded as Photo Eye-Q, the game brings to you the same level of fun, entertainment and frustrations that you all loved to hate. We hope you enjoy the game and will continue to support and spread the word. To be fair to our loyal customers who purchased our original version, the application will be FREE on iTunes for a limited time only.

BRIC Entertainment replied on February 07, 2009 17:55 to the problem "I feel a bit cheated here; you should have done a rename, not a republish" in BRIC Entertainment:
Sorry for our delay in responding to your concern. We are very sorry for not informing our customers earlier. Due to legal issues with Merit Entertainment, we had to rename the game to Photo Eye-Q. If you are an existing customer, please email us at support@bricent.com and we will gladly refund you the cost of the new game. Again, we are extremely sorry for the inconvenience and lack of notice.
Thank you!
BRIC Entertainment replied on January 25, 2009 19:16 to the problem "Can't find program in iTunes store" in BRIC Entertainment:
Unfortunately we had to take the game down from iTunes due to legal issues with the name. However we will be resubmitting the game back into iTunes under the name "Photo Eye-Q" in the next week. The good news is that we will be making the game available for free for a limited amount of time after the release of the game. Sorry again for the inconvenience. We really appreciate your support and would love to hear any comments or feedback that you may have to develop a better game.
