I have a 2001 Forester. I love it as much as you people love yours. Subaru makes a great reliable car. Like most Japanese cars these little workhorses just keep going. I have almost 130,000 miles on my Forester, and I truly believe it can go past 200,000. These engines will go for ever. The problem, as with most cars lifespan, is 2 fold; how well did an owner maintain the vehicle and when do the external things like the electrical equipment and transmission need to be replaced. Change your oil every 3,000 miles. make sure you brakes and tires are good. Another good tip is to find a mechanic you can trust.

Hello,
I have the med. laptop messenger bag and I can fit my ibook, and 2 notebooks. You might be able to fit one change of clothes, but no shoes. I would recommend the large or something bigger if you want to use it for the weekend. I am currently looking for another timbuk to carry around my other things. The laptop divider makes it a little harder to use and fit other things in it even when you don't want to tote your laptop.
The top handle does not come off.
Hope this helps! I must say, that I am overall pleased with the product.

That's pretty much what I do, and I have a "medium" bag. It's not one of the Laptop messenger, just regular, and I got it in '04, so they may have changed a bit... but it's a great size most of the time...but sometimes small when I have a couple days' worth of clothes in there, my lappie, and some other odds 'n' ends. Since it's collapsible, you're not going to have a big problem if it's too big. Get a larger one, but probably not the biggest. I'd also recommend a shoulder pad! Get a little accessory bag for the strap, too, so you can have your necessaries in easy range.

I agree the shoulder pad is a necessity if you are loading up with stuff. look at a message bad large should do it I have an extra large and it is just over kill most of the time but when I load up with change of clothing, laptop, 3 books and 2 binders it works out great.
Having a small messenger with out the handle I think at times it would be nice like whenI have to move about 5 feet and don't want to put it no a shoulder but most of the time I do not miss it. If you do not get the handle look at getting a zipper pouch of the strap ie if you have the money. that way you can have keys, change, id handy when you need them. I hope you find the bag that is right for you. ps I am just a avid lover of the bags

So right now there is actually a way to do this, but unfortunately it's not that intuitive. You need to create an "identity". Basically click on the name of the Facebook person and hit save. You have just "renamed" this person. Even if it's the same name, just click save. Then, when you click on the Twitter name, type in the same name. Once you hit save, it will group these people and you will have it together and de-duplicated.
This will be much more intuitive in the near future.

Redundant PostsHow are you going to deal with double posts? Like for example if someone updates their Facebook profile with Twitter and I am following both. Maybe you can remove this redundancy

I think i prefer Socialthing, but I'll stick with Friendfeed until I can add arbitrary RSS feeds.
Please note that I am aware that Socialthing and Friendfeed are different beasts (see last blog article at http://blog.socialthing.com/2008/03/1... for a more detailed explanation), however it happens that I use Friendfeed to track _my own_ activities and I want to try using Socialthing for the same purpose (and possibly more)
