Wow, I am shocked and dismayed to hear about this. I've been on Twitter for well over a year and never heard about this craziness. I'm trying to get a friend set up on Twitter who's going on a road trip and wants to use her Verizon phone to post via SMS to her Twitter account for all her friends. Obviously not gonna happen. Very sad. ESPECIALLY because Twitter is not acknowledging this on their "Known Issues" page.

BrooklynGuy replied on December 06, 2008 18:12 to the question "Do I always have to re-login?" in Memiary:
Please! Yo, Mr. Developer! Why can't you please please please set up a STANDARD login credentials page: with BOTH the username AND password fields ON THE SAME PAGE.
EVERYONE ELSE DOES THIS! That's what makes 1Password and so many other auto-log-in programs SO great, is that they mostly work all over the Net BECAUSE MOST DEVELOPERS ARE WILLING TO FOLLOW THIS CONVENTION.
I'm sorry to be whining about this again, but I wrote you in the very beginning, it's still not fixed, and I can tell from other users posting that the ol' song and dance about the browser(s) storing the credentials DOESN'T WORK. Some of us forget to come back for a week or whatever, and then we're screwed.
Please adjust the front page so that we can rely on 1Password etc. where we have already stored our credentials for all of our website logins because we have no memories.
Just saying.
Thanks.

Apparently the box entitled "Save for later" does not mean what it normally means--i.e., if you can't decide on this [software update], just click here and we'll remind you later." INSTEAD, it means: "This is a button. You will want it later to access our service (LaterLoop). Drag this button NOW to a part of your browser, so that you can click it later to access our service (LaterLoop). Oh, and by the way, we aren't going to tell you, but this doesn't work for Safari. At all. You won't know that at this point unless you're telepathic. We DO offer a similar button for Safari users, but it's buried behind a few pages back of the FAQ. You'll have to look around for a while to find it. We're too lazy to let you know all this on this particular webpage. Clean design is more important. We have our sights set high and want to compete with Apple."

Stuck at #1 and dogged by your UII just started using your service and I'm already confused. I'm sitting at a page entitled: Welcome to LaterLoop. The URL is http://www.laterloop.com/?hello=and-w... #1 says: "Set-up the LaterLoop bookmarklet:" but there is only ONE button: "Save for later." Hey, I want to do this NOW. There's no option! Did the page crap out because I'm on Safari? If Safari doesn't work with your website, please tell me in advance. If I'm supposed to save *this* very page, that doesn't make sense: it's the welcome page.

Twitter badge is rebellious! Won't conform to website font!Clueless about CSS, so I need help. I already plugged in a code for the font color, and that's working beautifully, but what's the code (and where does it go) to change the badge html snippet code so the display is completely in Arial?
This is in iWeb, btw. Thanks!

Yes, I have iLife 08. Yes, I heard that they added a Javascript insert command. But there's nothing in the help menu, and the guy who posted about it on the forum said it's only available on the Blog template. I tried that, but got bogged down with RSS feed confusion. – BrooklynGuy, on April 13, 2008 18:23

I know www.tuaw.com is doing it, and their implementation involves a java script thingy from twitter.

How to get iWeb and Twitter to make nice?Help! I want to add my Twitter feed to my webpage, which is done in iWeb. How do I do that? I know I've seen people's twitter feeds on their webpages, just don't know how to implement it in iWeb. Thanks!
