A comment on the question "Why can't we access/edit Address Book from within mail.app?" in Apple:
Since mail, address book and safari are so closely linked, I figure that I should be able to access a person's address book entry (via a sidebar?) without opening the address book. For example, if someone emails me their favourite colour, I'd like to be able to stick it in the notes section of the address book. – Bruce, on June 13, 2009 00:39

Displaying unread messagesHow do you display unread messages only?
Thunderbird had a feature that I can't find in Postbox...

Bruce replied on January 15, 2009 19:13 to the question "How about an "Open this link in LittleSnapper" bookmarklet or Firefox extension?" in Realmac Software:
I realize that it's difficult/impossible to run an application from a Firefox bookmarklet, but I noticed that cssedit.app does it somehow. You can see the bookmarklets at http://www.macrabbit.com/cssedit/book....
I think they are creating a new kind of protocol that Firefox calls.
Take a look, make some magic!

I was thinking that if you made a "Open this page in Skitch" bookmarklet, the URL would be passed to Skitch and it would be that much easier to create the corresponding thumbnail code.

I would like to link the websnap to the page from which it came.I want to post images in my blog that link back to the cool websites they came from.
The resulting code would be like (a href = "coolpage.com")(img src="quicksnapper.com/me/coolimage.jpg")(/a).
I'm sure this is possible because the quicksnapper page contains a link to the page from which the Websnap came.
This would cause a revolution in blogging!

After I snap a picture off cnn.com and post it to scrnshots.com, I want to create this HTML code:
(a href ="http://www.cnn.com")(img src="http://scrnshots.com/user/thepicture.jpg")(/a)
This way I can post images/thumbnails from cool pages I find on the web, and have visitors click on them to go to the page.

Link screenshot to Source URLI know that scrnshots.com contains the URL from which screenshots are taken, so why isn’t there an option (under Links & Embeds) to get the HTML code linking the screenshot to the original page?
I want to publish my screenshots, and then stick code on my blog linking the image to the page from which it came.
Thanks!

How about linking the thumb to the page it came from?I think it would be great if the webpost feature had an option to post a thumbnail with a link to the page from which the thumb was taken.
For example, I might create a thumbnail from a portion of an image on a page, and stick that thumbnail in a blog with a link to the original page.-
