Cannot disable smart zone and the alternatives you have listed are good only if you use a single computer,Or you can free up server resourses for comcast and use a free email such as yahoo , gmail, hotmail to name a few. Or you can dump the comcast bull and get another isp also dumping comcast's phone, internet and tv by going with dsl and satilite.Because the fact is comcast does not care enough to put the reliable email platform as an option for the customer because of the ad revenue they recieve with the legal spam the put in your email box.Oh thats right i had a rep tell me it was information i might be intrested in.well that is just not so comcast. I am most assuredly not intrested.If I was I would goggle it or use another search engine. You can put sugar on crap put it still tastes like crap looks like crap and feels like crap.Get your hands dirty comcast and cut the crap . oh yes I can not send a picture from my cell phone to a comcast address and recieve it. gmail, yahoo, hot mail, have no problems recieving it just....... Yep comcast. The isp I pay for. 29 more days will make 90 this platform has been a thorn in my behind and if not fixed goodbye triple play. See at least i give a time line to solve the problem, why won't comcast

Hi fred, I don't seem to have the anti-spam in the mcafee package either...It must have been dropped. Rosaline... if you still need a hand setting up the security centerdrop me a line at blewin2@comcast.net and I or my wife will be happy to talk you thru it. But this is a limited time offer lol as if the issues with smart mail are not fixed in the next 29 days I will not have comcast to refernce for the package they have.

Sorry Mathew, It is a nation wide problem with comcast. It seems they know what is better for us then we do.I am in washington and running the same vista as you, I can't even send a picture from my cell phone to my comcast adress and get it as comcast removes the image...i get it fine using yahoo, gmail, hotmail, and these are free services.There have been multiple problems with smart mail sence it came out and comcast does not give a hoot about it.The same problems day in and day out.but unlike some I am not going to just switch to one of the free services. I am going to dump the entire triple play package all together. I have been extremly patient with comcast, when i dump them it will have been 90 days of headaches that they ignored the problem.Only 29 days left.

The more people they piss off enough to change thier email service, the more server resourses they free up for thier ad blitz in your smart mail box.
Win- Win for comcast. But they have 29 more days to get this fixed for me ....that makes 3 monthes total and I will not be giving comcast a dime after. No tv, No phone, and no internet from them

Comcast must not have pissed off enough customers so that they switch thier email addys and free up more of comcasts server resources. Of course once those resourses are free they can put more spam in your mail box... Win Win for comcast!!!!!

Dear Mark, Frank, and George,
It has been monthes now and no improvement in the email services,looking back the picture becomes more clear. Comcast has the added revenue from the legal spam in the smart mail and an added bonus of less resourses needed for thier smart mail because everyone is pissed and changing email addresses to the free sites that provide better service then the one we pay for. Win Win for comcast huh??well not quite 1 more month and if it is not fixed ... kiss my triple play account goodbye
