Bruce (Logan) Pringlemeir replied on November 06, 2009 16:08 to the question "Multiple Moderator Access" in TalkShoe:
Hi Derrick,
Thank you for your suggestion. In fact, this is the most requested change in Talkshoe, the addition of a moderation feature. Talkshoe is looking into what this would take to add, but we have no word on when/if this will come to be.
There is an alternative method many hosts use, one that you might want to consider. Alow the person you want to be moderator to access the main account you use to create the show. Then you as host create a second call ID, maybe something like " FreedomFCHS Host", where you do you show, but the main account will run the recording and chat room. The second account will have no control, so make the moderator using the main account someone you trust.

Bruce (Logan) Pringlemeir replied on November 04, 2009 22:50 to the question "How do I search for a specific podcast within a particular call series?" in TalkShoe:
If the host placed a description or comment about the topic, it may appear in our search feature. If this doesn't work, I would only suggest maybe contacting the host by email or leave a comment on their Talkshoe show page, asking them for the episode number/airdate where they discussed the wanted topic

Bruce (Logan) Pringlemeir replied on November 01, 2009 23:36 to the question "How does TS generate a web-based list of attendees (who can then be muted and unmuted by the host) if people have just called in by phone?" in TalkShoe:
Hi Peter,
First, to answer the question simply, you as host can mute and unmute all phone callers, and all chat participants. If you have them muted, they can not unmute themselves.
When a caller calls into a show, they are asked for their PIN number. IF they had signed up for a free Talkshoe account, they had the chance to enter a PIN, which the system identifies with their user name. If they enter the 1# instead of PIN, they will appear as their state. For example, when I enter 1#, I appear in the listing as central Arkansas. If there are a number of people calling in on the 1# from the same area, they will all appear the same identity. That is why we also promote (and host should too) people creating their free user name and PIN. Hope this helps some, let us know if you have more questions.

Dave's suggestion is great for Macs. For PC, you can use http://www.voiceemotion.com/ where you can use their software mixer. The free trial version allows you up to five clip slots to use. I use vemotion for all my audio. You can also go with a mixer, but that can get costly. You can see a training video on my website, www.logansrunthepodcast.com or mirrored at www.talkshoesupportlive.com

I am not the expert with mixers, if you email us at support@talkshoe.com, we will see if we can get you running. – Bruce (Logan) Pringlemeir, on November 01, 2009 21:46
