i find that whenever a song is being played the little speaker icon is missing as well. this makes it very difficult to see which song is currently playing and i have to rummage through my library to where i am in my playlist. i have quite big playlists and having to do this everytime i loose track of my currently playing track is quite a hassle.

with the focus set and the 'now playing' indicator displaying this would be awesome. at the moment it's just frustrating.

i'm using Songbird 1.2.0 on osx 10.5.6

i clicked download on one track from a page and it downloaded every file it could find on that page.

it's not just the Now Playing add-on though (0.5). it happens on playlists i created in songbird aswell.

'hypemachine tab' - it's just 'n new tab i created (cmd + t) and then searched for a track (in hypemachine) using the search bar on the right of the URL bar.

it also happens if create a new tab and navigate to hypeMachine via their URL (hypem.com).

Songbird is overlapping my tracks

i frequently switch between my Now Playing playlist and a specific HypeMachine search screen in a tab. i'd listen to a track from hypeM and then when i want to listen a song in my playlist (by double clicking or right-click > play), the two songs play simultaneously.

the whole app then freezes up a few seconds later and gives me a crash dialogue and prompts me to restart Songbird.

i'm using Mac OS (leopard) on a Macbook with SB 0.7 beta.

Songbird was installed and i just double clicked the new .dmg (0.7 beta).

i got a dialogue: "an item named 'songbird' already exists in this location. Do you want to replace it with the one you're moving?"

i clicked 'Replace' and then it checked for updates on my addons and then it was good to go. it then played fine until friday evening and it's been giving me grief till today.

i've had the same problem for the last two days.

rundown of my problem:

- i installed SB (0.6) and then when the beta was released, i installed that.

- created a playlist for a party (btw... everyone at the party was like, 'dude, i have to get your itunes skin, it looks awesome'. :|)

- i tried skipping tunes as people requested as the night went on, but after awhile the tracks just wouldn't play anymore. it simply skipped to the next tune (the Now Playing playlist was on shuffle). it did this for about a day until i reinstalled.

-reinstalling worked fine, but then one of my mp3 just wouldn't play. the file's not corrupted (it worked on my itunes - mac and winxp - winamp, WMP and foobar). it's my favourite tune at the moment and it's rather irritating not being to play it.

any idea? (either problem)

@jlow: i downloaded iKey (2.2.2) but it doesn't seem to work with SB. searched through the list of applicaitions but couldn't target SB.

it would be cool if this was built into the player though without having to install some other app.
