SMS communication from AT&T to twitter seems to be down. I've sent several tweets in the past hour from my iPhone and they don't get through, although I receive all my updates. There have been a few glitches like this during the past week. They will probably be delayed for a bit then get through. Keep trying

I just noticed this from our AT&T account. I can't update from the phone, but am receiving updates from others to my SMS. Same is occurring for my wife and daughter. Web interface is fine.

you are the third iPhone user I've seen having SMS problems with twitter. Perhaps its the portal used? My texts to others send/receive with no problems.

I've checked to make sure my SMS was working in/out with my carrier and it is (I have an iPhone on AT&T). I also checked to see if updates were going phone to twitter, and they weren't. I can update on the web, my timeline is correct, just no SMS.

I'm in the same boat. My SMS updates stopped in both directions around 10:30 MDT Sunday evening

About the same time your problem started I stopped receiving all SMS notifications to my iPhone, and not SMS is getting from my iPhone to Twitter. Seems to be widespread.

All of my updates are showing up in my web timeline, but my SMS updates stopped as of 10:39 p.m. MDT last evening. I haven't received any of the 22 updates that have posted since.
