Tracking a security depositIt would be nice to be able to track deposits e.g., a security deposit for a rental property. I've currently got my security deposit listed as an asset, but I can't link transactions against it. I'd like to show the original debit from my bank account as a credit to the security deposit account. It would also be nice to be able to add an interest rate to the account as some states require that interest be paid when a deposit is refunded.

Azigo is constantly popping up and getting in the way on my Mac.Using Firefox 3.5.2 on OS X, I find that Azigo is regularly popping up and getting in my way when there's no information card being requested. Why is this? It seems to me that this program should never be visible to me unless I need to change configurations or I'm being asked for authorization to provide my card.

Why are so many TV episodes available only on disc?It seems like every time I add a TV show to my instant queue, I find at least a couple of the episodes in the series are only available on disc. Today I was watching a show called "Big Ideas" and only the first episode was available instantly.

It appears that there's a bit of a lag associated with some actions at the moment. My problem was resolved on its own.

Blackberry Enterprise Server 5.0 requires Internet Explorer for administration.Blackberry Enterprise Server 5.0 has a new web-based administration console, which should have made it much more accessible to administrators. Unfortunately, this console requires that an ActiveX control be installed on the client. This means that only Internet Explorer is capable of using the site.

Brian Shacklett asked a question in Twitter on June 15, 2009 17:35:
Twitter for emergency / disaster scenariosMy company is considering using Twitter as one of many ways to send status updates and keep communication open in a disaster (earthquake, etc.). What services will we be able to provide to people without twitter accounts? For instance, can they send a message to 40404 "@username safe and well" to let us know they're OK? I've read that Twitter will create a mobile-only account in some cases, but I'm not sure if that's accurate.
Is anyone else using Twitter for disaster situations? Do you have any recommendations?

Poor support for multiple monitors in Excel.Due to its multiple document interface, Excel doesn't support multiple monitors without opening separate instances or stretching the container window across the monitors. This type of interface should have died out in the mid '90s. Why is it still used?

Why is a static IP so expensive?I have no interest in most of the features of business class internet, but a static IP would be very useful to me. Unfortunately, a plan with a static IP starts at about $100.00 a month for very slow connection speed. Customers have to be assigned an IP address anyway. Why not just make it static?
Brian Shacklett replied on April 24, 2009 05:12 to the question "Is Roku a good Apple TV alternative?" in Netflix:
I agree with the previous comments. All of these players are really heading into new territory. It's going to be a while before we see a single device that allows you to ditch cable altogether. That said, the Roku player has delivered a lot of entertainment to me for a very small price. I have no hesitations in recommending it.

GUI for configuring multiple network interfacesI've had to run VMs off of both my wireless and wired network interfaces a few times and it's a royal pain to get it set up. It would be great to see a GUI for configuring this.
