Favourite sources missing

For some reason, the "favorite sources" that normally appear at the top right hand side of the feedly screen have disappeared. The word "sources" is there in the usual green font, but none of my favourites (which definitely have unread articles) are there. All I see is "28 more in dashboard" underneath where the favourites would ordinarily be.

The problem seems to be identical to this one reported by vsl a year ago:

I'm using Firefox 3.5.5 on Windows XP Pro, with the ltest version of feedly from the website.

Can someone help?

Yep, it's the 2.x version. But I saw a thread elsewhere suggesting that clearing out cookies may work. Deleted my Feedly and Google cookies, and it worked fine yesterday. But the same problem has returned today. Something cookie related?
