Ok, that did it. I installed Wuala on Vista, created and account, and can access my account using Linux. Thanks! – Bucky, on May 29, 2008 04:34

Obviously there seems to be no possibility to create an account with the commandline-tool (yet).
Maybe you could use another computer with 32-bit-architecture to create the account and uninstall wua.la after that. Once you've created your account on the other machine you can login using the commandline-tool on your Ubuntu Linux.
Another possibility would be to download Knoppix with 32-bit-architecture (or similiar Live-CDs), boot it from the CD, just install wua.la to RAM, run the GUI-Version, create your account and reboot into your "normal" system.

apparently you need to use some gui installer the very first time to create your account inside the wuala system, then inside the commandline client you simply use:
wualacmd
and then
login yourusername yourpassword
cant you start the gui wuala on your system first? then quit it after the account has been created and run the wualacmd.
