bugmenot replied on October 24, 2008 05:56 to the problem "Adjust and Denoise both crash CS3" in Topaz Labs:
FYI: The problem with Online Armor is it's application protection, not the firewall itself. It checks if the application is allowed to run and if it's unknown it asks the user it it's ok. I don't get a popup when launching the plugin though, maybe because it's a plugin and not .exe/.dll? I haven't had time yet to examine it more closely though..

Online armor has application protection as well so it probably sees something it doesn't like, haven't found anything yet in the logs though. The beta worked for me but I don't think I had OA installed then, only the Vista FW.
Eric: Thanks, I'll request a trial extension! :)
Joe: Might be AVG, try disabling it and then start PS... just don't forget to enable it again after you've quit PS... ;)

bugmenot replied on October 05, 2008 19:13 to the question "how to email a picture in the webpage by Ubiquity?" in Mozilla:
It's been implemented, see http://www.watersheep.org/~markh/scre...
A comment on the update "Announcement: Beta launch of new features" in Get Satisfaction:
The common short term for Get Satisfaction is GSFN, because their shorturl is gsfn.us. And another Thomas has informed me that they do not actually offer merge, it just closes the topic and redirects to another. This way if you have two active threads on the same topic, the contents of one (which may have been useful) are lost when redirecting. – bugmenot, on October 05, 2008 18:32

http://www.watersheep.org/~markh/screengrab.html does the job ;-)
bugmenot replied on October 05, 2008 14:54 to the question "Grab a screen shot with Ubiquity" in Mozilla:
See http://www.watersheep.org/~markh/screengrab.html - a ubiquity script that takes screen shots.
FYI bugmenot, only the preview uses the cmdutils function, since at present getWindowSnapshot only captures the top of the page.

Better goalsCurrent way of setting goals doens't work for me - I don't work equally every week. I wish I could set something like:
I spend time on "work" is 2 times more than "procastination".-
bugmenot started following the question "Decrease Logins with HelpCenter- Oauth or Anonymous Posting?" in Get Satisfaction.
bugmenot replied on September 18, 2008 17:20 to the problem "[Ubiquity] email (to contact) treated as part of message" in Mozilla:
I added "mail.google.com" to my cookie exception [allow for session] list, while keeping third party cookies disabled, and it now works for me. I also always use https. I did notice that not all of my contacts are displaying [even ones with unique names and email addresses], but I am getting some results. It seems to function, but is still buggy.
bugmenot shared an idea in JamLegend on September 18, 2008 12:52:
OFFICIAL Songs to Improve Oni'd like to see a list of songs that i've played, but where my best score is lower than the goal score (room for improvement)
bugmenot replied on September 18, 2008 12:36 to the discussion "Why the heck do I have to sign up for a \"Get Satisfaction\" Account?" in JamLegend:
hello?! please make reporting issues easy for us, beta users, if you want to get feedback... why is there no easy way to do it? i've come here(feedback and help) at least five times with a great idea/problem and i've changed my mind because i don't need another account/login... come on, you can do it...
bugmenot replied on September 13, 2008 14:23 to the idea "Top10 ... more suggested commands (initial wish-list)" in Mozilla:
The top of your list is "time in {location}". Something close is available: "time at {timezone}", over at http://www.jpemartin.com/ubiq/time.html
