Feature request: DJing extensionWith the new GStreamer core it would be supercool if there was an extension that would provide some djing features.
It could implement a media view that has multiple playlists which could be manually crossfaded and each streamed to different sound device outputs.
Advanced looping functionality would be cool, too.
Perhaps something like this http://www.hobnox.com/audiotool.1046....? where several audio effects are looped in a Flash interface could also be done in Javascript connected with GStreamer.
Given that my programming skills are limited, I come up with these ideas, hoping that someone could find them realizable.

From what I understand, Tyler has that right. The engine for SB has fully integrated the browser into the program.
I believe that as long as you do not activate any web-browsing-related processes, the memory shouldn't be affected. The program will just be a little bigger. I run SB every once in a while just for music, and I always hit around 90 MB, which is acceptable at this stage of development.
I, too, wish for a trimmed version, but I do not foresee any actions compromising this minority of thought. Personally, as long as they keep up the good work with the memory reduction and add CD support, I'll be quite content with this piece of software.
