Nein, siehe FAQ. Im Moment kannst du dann bei einer negativen Quote einfach nichts mehr hochladen, sonst passiert gar nichts. Ich persönlich glaube nicht, dass jemals gelöscht werden wird, aber man kann nie wissen - daher gebe ich auch keine Prognosen ab. Du wirst aber sicher rechtzeitig vorher darüber informiert werden.

A comment on the problem "Wuala stürtzt "Out of memory" ab" in Wuala:

256MB hatte mein PC vor mehr als 10 Jahren... Gönn dir was und kauf nen 2nd hand PC aus der Grabbelkiste um ne Handvoll Euro und du hast mind. das doppelte oder vierfache an RAM verbaut...

Übrigens heißt der Parameter meines Wissens nach "-Xmx", vielleicht liegt darin der Fehler? – Bugreport, on March 18, 2009 19:18

Damit wird die Datei deren Fragmente du löscht maximal etwas langsamer geladen werden, mehr auch nicht - schaden tust du dem Netzwerk also kaum damit!

ja, sie haben alle Dateien gesichert aber nein, im Moment verteilen das nur Leute, die die Datei im Cache haben und nicht die Server auch noch. – Bugreport, on March 15, 2009 23:13

It's not a real "folder" but more a kinda missing GUI element imho.
Atm it can't and shouldn't be deleted however you can ask the support (like pascal suggested) if it's possible anyways but I doubt it.

Currently there's no supported way of doing so... unfortunately you're capped at 100GB shared space per computer. This is likely going to change - no ETA though.

Initial upload goes to the server(s) and is 100%. Everything after that can be theoretically cancelled if you want. Afaik Wuala also uploads the next file after 100% is reached and maintains later if you upload multiple files.

if it's compressed on demand (it would have to be since private data can't be decrypted in advance) it might even be possible to select your preferred archive type...

Anyways, for special cases (Wuala on a NAS) it might be worth considering another client but the main client will most likely stay Java.

Are you maybe playing those songs in a mediaplayer or have played them in this "session"? Could be a locking problem of Windows maybe.

Please try restarting your PC and then uploading those files again.

@1: It ends up in your local cache folder (encrypted btw.) and can only be accessed unencrypted via the filesystem integration. If you just look inside your cache folder, you'll just find some encrypted files with strange names.

Hm, being online is not the only criteria for trading - you have to be "connectable" (which usually means that the port Wuala uses has to be forwarded to your computer)
Also you can't trade if you enabled the "compatibility mode".

Edit: And yes, I personally also don't like the red/yellow/green dot in the corner there... it doesn't always tell the whole story!

1. If you use "save as" it should be at the specified location - does your filesystem integration work?

2. No idea, I'm no Linux user, but I'm sure one of them will soon help you on this

3. Could be the fragment generation for maintenance (even though it wasn't multithreaded the last time I checked...) - if it slows down your system please report here if not it's inteded behaviour to use some CPU (quite some, depending on which files you have in your cache) every 1-2 weeks.
