i did that and all it does is go to the program playing on the other channel.

how can i stop a DVR playback without deleting the program? right now i have to turn off the DVR and TV. It would seem the stop button on the remote should work, but it doesn't.
A comment on the problem "Customer Service, anyone?" in Dell:

thanks i finally got a female tech support person who after reviewing all my calls and emails agreed that i need a new computer.
and because i was within the 21 days, it's a brand new one.

Dell studio laptop 1535 softkey media buttons haven't worked right since day 1. Did everything tech support could do. trying to get unit replaced and i can't reach a human in customer service who could do this. can anyone help with a number?
i have one week left to 21 days.
