A comment on the problem "AMC is less accessible to Deaf and Hard of Hearing with this site" in AMC Theatres:
I want to give AMC money to see 2012 but I need a captioned show. I need an easy way to do this. Talk is cheap and talk isn't providing the easy listings that I had bookmarked. You talk about providing a replacement but I don't see one. Therefore, I'm not happy with AMC right now -- and apparently AMC is taking full advantage of the fact that the only other option in my area, Wehrenberg, is even farther behind than you are.
Where's my listings? "Sometime next week" you said 14 days ago, and TODAY my bookmark just throws a 404 error and no movie listings.
This kind of conduct is why, more and more often, I just wait for the Blu-ray that has SUBTITLES and I don't have to pay your outrageous prices for horrible food, too. I'm needing you less and less and the way you treat those of us with some disabilities while accommodating others in every theater and every show is just horrible.
Why do you hate the deaf and blind so much? I guess it'll take a member of some exec's family being deaf and/or blind for you to help, but someone somewhere who has pull is a wheelchair user. – Buran, on November 13, 2009 19:36

I like this idea in addition to the "backup database via SyncDocs" suggestion/request that I just emailed. Hopefully, it'll work with Google Apps Docs, since I'd really rather suck all my Google Account-only services into my own domain (maps, voice, and such) but for some things, Apps isn't supported. Argh.-

I need this fixed ASAP. My Citibank credit card is my primary card because it's a cash-back reward card (CashReturns). However, no matter how often I click "update", Mint stubbornly jams on "Updated 2 weeks ago". I may have gotten it to work again by re-entering my username and password, which were not changed in the meantime, but I'm wary.
It's hard to keep track of my spending when the account on which 90% of that spending happens never updates, ever...-

A comment on the problem ""Succesfully Upgraded Tab" opens every time I start Firefox" in Xmarks:
I am not going to uninstall and reinstall everything to just get rid of this tab. Xmarks needs to fix its software to add a preference to NEVER SHOW IT IN THE FIRST PLACE. It's intrusive and annoying and is done to drive hits to the website. I'm perfectly capable of navigating to the website on my own if I want to see the change list.
Noscript used to spawn its own tab too, and after a ton of complaints, the author buried a hidden pref that would stop the exension from helping itself to the new-tab command (a pref that the user had to use the prefs-setting UI to access - NO checkbox exists). Where's your hidden pref?
Enough already. I uninstalled NoScript for that and other unethical behavior. Do you really want to be next? – Buran, on August 17, 2009 19:38-

I'd love a silent squelch/hide feature that you could activate for a certain length of time (days/hours/etc). You'd still get the messages, but they wouldn't show til the time expired or the squelch was cancelled, at which time they'd reappear -- ideally either from that time forward or older tweets would appear as if never hidden.
A comment on the problem "Reply indicator still shown even after seeing all replies in my main timeline." in atebits:
I would not have phrased it that way, either, but I'm still very surprised that a bug this irritating still remains after at least one update (was this reported when 1.0 or 1.0.1 was the current version?). It's the primary reason I'm still using Twitterific -- Twitterific actually respects the fact that I've opened it, read the tweets, and closed the window. Tweetie sits there obliviously saying "You've got stuff you haven't seen yet!" even when I have seen it all. I shouldn't have to scroll around or change "tabs" to get the indicator to go away. It might be tolerable if there was a key combo to press to clear it, but there isn't one. – Buran, on April 28, 2009 17:34
A comment on the idea "Give users the option to tweet from the main window, instead of a separate window" in atebits:
Who's getting upset? People are making requests, which is to be expected. You're getting bent out of shape over that. – Buran, on April 21, 2009 19:35
A comment on the idea "Give users the option to tweet from the main window, instead of a separate window" in atebits:
So in other words we should all sit down and shut up because we happen to have requests. If developers didn't want user requests, we wouldn't have sites like this one. If you don't like user requests, then keep on scrolling by or go to another website. – Buran, on April 21, 2009 18:44
Buran replied on April 21, 2009 17:42 to the problem "Highlighting of @replies in the main view include other usernames" in atebits:
I want this to stay like this. It makes it possible to see if I'm mentioned in another tweet - some people, myself included, address more than one person in a tweet. If you take this out, please add a preference option to make it notice tweets I'm mentioned in, even if the @user at the beginning of the tweet isn't my username.

A comment on the idea "Hide Dock Icon" in atebits:
I shouldn't have to install something else to make the Dock icon go away. Twitterific and other apps that live in the menu bar manage to not clutter my Dock. – Buran, on April 21, 2009 17:38
