A comment on the problem "do twitter support tickets ever get actually resolved?" in Twitter:
Just received an update to my ticket from Lukester: "We're working to improve search. I do find you in find people search as well as mentions of you in search.twitter.com. There will be a big fix soon that should address many of the issues people are having, yours included."
This IS NOT the issue that I have reported.. I've stated the issue about 5 separate times within the ticket and Lukester continues to ignore the key text within the ticket.. I've got many years of I.T. support experience behind me and am dumbfounded at how many ways I've managed to describe the problem without it registering with your customer support. – BushidoDreams, on June 29, 2009 23:19

Hi, apologies if I appeared a little snappy. My ticket number is #317346. All of the info is there. However to summarise, my timeline is not displaying my updates, it IS displaying replies or RT from other people which include my user name but none of my own updates show. This means that I am unable to use hashtags. It is almost as if my account is protected but it is not (I have ticked the protected box, saved, unticked the box a few times to try and sort it myself - to no avail).
I have also been through the FAQs and the knowledge base to see if there were other solutions and nothing I see is relevant. I did change my account name a few months ago and this problem appears to have occurred since then (It was a while before I noticed it though).
The person who has the ticket assigned to him has shown no signs of actually reading the updates to the ticket that I have made.
Many thanks for your quick response.

do twitter support tickets ever get actually resolved?I've now been waiting for over 4 weeks for my relatively simple twitter problem to be addressed, after about 2 weeks I received a very generic email which didn't help at all and the ticket was closed. I managed to get this re-opened and since then no-one has looked at the issue. This is way beyond bad customer service it is customer neglect.-
