Hey, thanks for the tip. I was indeed outside in both cases. I did try multiple times, opening and reopening the app. But I didn't think the Map app would influence the operation. I have the 3GS, which should work best.. oh well, will hope for better luck next time :)) Cheers.-

thanks.. but to solve the problem from happening in the first place the function to nudge the pin within a certain radius really must be added to the app itself. -

By the way, my mood is also a :( face bc I checked in at three places yesterday and no stamps showed up for them. something is wrong. I go to the pages and it says you are checked in here... but on my stats page I have no stamps for these places. another user also said there was an issue last night. -

Finally-- I really think that you should be able to drag the pin to anywhere within a reasonable radius of where you are, to alleviate this location placement issue! -

Promote polyrhythms!Promote beat range selection (hold pattern icon and drag across grid to select start and end loop range) more. It's in the instructions but hard to notice and probably underutilized for how cool it is... not a lot of other sequencers for iphone let you do this or go as granular.
No one is really using this amazing feature at least in the shared grids I've been browsing... where are the 7/4 compositions (select up to 14 instead of 16 beats and you have a 7/4 pattern)...
Then there is amazing room for polyrhymic compositions with different patterns having different lengths...
E.g. I made a 7/4 melody over a 4/4 pattern.. Really neat! I could then add a 5/4 pattern (select up to 10 beats instead of 16) overtop that for polyrhythm crazyness...
Even a simple 3/4 pattern over 4/4 pattern (12 steps pattern played simultaneously with a 16 steps pattern) rocks... -
