A comment on the idea "Constantly sharing a Folder" in Wuala:

This is by design to prevent unwanted privacy issues/data loss.

I just wanted to ask the same question as bylon when I noticed this thread.
Additionally to the "problem" as described above, sometimes you delete a blurred picture and then you have to navigate to the group and delete the picture there as well.

But its a hell of a work to add the folder always and always again just too make sure, the group sees all my files in there.
If i am sharing it with a group, i get asked for 3 "objects" (sorry, my english sucks):
*Overwrite the files with the same names
*Change the name of the File
*do nothing.

And i have to choose this for ALL the subfolders..
So lets think about a huge photofolder, i want to add my photos i made today. I have to klick "do nothing" for each folder in there which is already in the group.

Another "thing" to solve this would be more subfolders for groups, so i can directly share my new photofolder into the subfolder of Photo i already created there. but thats not possible

Symbolic links to private groups are not planned in the near future. I recommend you to post this in http://wua.la/Wuala as a feature request. If many people request it, we will start thinking about it.

In the mean time, if you have the file system integration turned on (e.g. "W:\"), you can use a file synchronization software to update the W: drive.

I've also used NTSYNC (Win32) and Beyond Compare (Win32) in the past with great success.

It would be really really great, if i can share a folder to a group.. okay thats possible.
but if i change something, like adding a subfolder, i have to share the folder again so the subfolder may be seen in the groups folder. Maybe you might add a feature like "share this folder to a group / share this folder with a group constantly (means also when subfolders change or new subfolders and files added)"

That would be awesome.
