miss keri replied on July 23, 2008 21:44 to the question "User unfriendly call centre menu" in Timbuk2:
Bagman must have been sending results-oriented vibes through the airways because sometime between last night and this morning the message disappeared! This forced us to re-record the message and ^insert sigh here^ make it shorter. Cant say i blame you, bagman, you got places to go, people to see- you need fast results! And who wants to sit through another automated phone menu when all you want is to talk to someone!
But can you blame us for wanting to have some fun? Thanks for the feedback and have a great day now!
miss keri replied on June 25, 2008 23:36 to the question "Single-Speed Courier Toe Clip Strap Threading" in Timbuk2:
Hi Matty,
Sorry to hear you are having trouble with those darn straps. Did you know that the straps are actually replicas of the old toe clips that used to hold bike shoes in place? Back in the day at le tour, the men wore shoes that had straps, like those on the bag, to hold the shoes in the cages. They were made of leather and moved around a bit.
The straps on the bag, being that they are made of leather, aren't going to catch like those made of webbing or nylon, but it should not be completely slipping out of the catch.
If you are having a huge problem, send us a photo here. If the straps are just slipping little by little, that's a little normal!
I hope this helps.

Hey Alysson!
Thorina Rose Pheasant Messengers are collectors items now, but we still have Thorina Rose on the site. Check out the latest installment in the Thorina Rose collection, the Bear!

Screenprinted on camoflauge, with an orange swirl, the bear bag definitely brings to mind all those fun time camping with good friends. Or something like that.
yay.

thanks Tulip for your keen observational skillz. I added a blurb to the last paragraph that hopefully clears up the case of the missing information. We are glad you spoke up.
Conversely, we might think of it this way,... a jobs openings page, talking about how great we are w/out any mention of jobs means we are so great, that no one ever wants to leave!
but we like change. and as you will see, there is a job there now....
hmmm.
miss keri replied on March 17, 2008 17:17 to the question "The picture has clips, but it says no clips? what should I do?" in Timbuk2:
This IS kinda confusing so pay attention. Regardless of which one you order, you will receive a male/female clip combo.
The difference is in the way the whole contraption attaches to the bottom left of your bag. On the newer bags there is a D ring on the bottom left (or right) that coincides with a "clip" on the cross strap. On the old bags, there is no D ring on the bag, only a piece of strap through which you must "thread" the other part of the strap.
Chances are, you will get one with clips either way since we dont really have two kinds. We just cut the clip off before we send it for the "without clips" version.
Sometimes.

miss keri replied on February 21, 2008 23:58 to the question "I have a concept. Do you pay for new concepts?" in Timbuk2:
Well it depends really, on what the concept is? Is it related to a Timbuk2 bag? Then prolly not. We gots a whole shit load of Product Designers here that we pay each day for concepts.
But if your concept is really good, someone here might be interested...
thanks for checking though! We think you're swell.

miss keri, an employee of Timbuk2, replied on January 05, 2008 00:15 to the question "Do you do any internships? My school has a requirement of a three week internship at the end of Senior year. Any way i can Intern at Timbuk2?" in Timbuk2:
Hey eanne53,
We thought of some questions for you! Can take a stab at the questions below? Then we can go from there. We figured since we don't KNOW you, we don't KNOW if we want to have an intern. You know?
What are your interests?
What special skills would you bring to the table?
Can you rate your level of skill in the game of ping-pong?
What major coursework are you involved in?
Where are you?
Ideally, when would your “internship” take place?
Describe yourself in 5 words.
What do you intend to "learn" while you are here?
Finish the joke, “a horse walks into a bar,”
And most importantly, what brought you to ask us such a question? We are honored btw. Tell us about why you would like to come and hang with us and what ideas and talent you will bring to Timbuk2.
Send your answers to me at ksedor@timbuk2.com and we will go from there.
Sincerely,
Keri Sedor
