Now it is working now for my Firefox. For the last case I had, when the CPU usage hiccuped to 100%, it was when my firefox was loaded with quite some addons.

When running with a different set of addons, the usage of CPU actually didn't go up that high.

I have paid $20 for the Apps I love! I disagree with dburka on pownce not being used a social networking tool. It is working amazingly well for me. Comparing to using facebook which is more for sending files to friends in conjunction with facebook apps, I am just happy to send random messages to random friends i have on pownce. Why not?

I have the same issue with firefox 2.0.0.8 and the new version of rescuetime client as well. Once the client opened, the CPU usage of Firefox goes up to 100%
