Podworks 2.9.5 and iPhone 3.0.1 and iTunes 8.2.1 compatibility?Does PodWorks 2.9.5 not work with iPhone 3Gs running 3.0.1? Currenly PodWorks doesn't seem to be able to see my iPhone. Also, I'm running the latest version of iTunes, I think 8.2.1

Apple has poor warranty-honoring policies and doesn't empower their technicians enoughI've had my current iPhone for about a year. It has worn pretty well but it does have a crack the white plastic casing that doesn't interfere with its functioning. It started to get slow and unresponsive, then stopped reliably sending or receiving calls. Finally, the phone got all static-y when placing voice calls without having speaker phone turned on. I made a Genius Bar appointment and my technician wanted to issue a replacement, but said that the crack required a second opinion. The next technician refused the replacement based on the crack, which had developed independently of the problems above and in fact existed before I had the call-connectivity and static problems.
I bought my first iPhone the day they came out. I've paid for two more iPhones since then. Apple not honoring my Apple Care/warranty has me very upset. I'd very much like it if Apple refunded my purchase today of yet another iPhone since they refused to warranty this one.
And what's up with a technician who wanted to give me a replacement not being allowed to do so? That's awfully bureaucratic and really undermines the carefully crafted aura of competence that the entire Apple Store is built around.
The other troublesome trend is that it is clear to me that Apple has stricter warranty policies than in the past. I had an issue with my 1st-Gen iPhone and Apple replaced it with very few questions asked because it was the right thing to do – and they were trying to give the iPhone a good reputation when it first came out. Now that the iPhone is such a success, it feels to me like Apple doesn't care as much about quality/warranty-honoring. Boo.
Apple, I've been loyal iPhone customer since day one. I feel like I got the shaft here. Please contact me and let's work this out.

I've tried this with a couple of my Twitter accounts, @bl and @brettl, and I still can't get it to work. – Brett L., on August 16, 2009 23:55

I'm trying this solution, too, but I'm getting stalled on Twitter's OAuth page just after I click Allow with the proper credentials. The browser says Loading... for a while, then redirects from the auth token URL to https://twitter.com/oauth/authorize with a blank page and the result is that no account has been added.-

Brett L. replied on December 25, 2007 18:42 to the question "How to create a XSPF file from an iTunes playlist?" in Sci-Fi Hi-Fi:
You might just post a sample XSPF file and instructions on how to bundle it with the ZIP file. Here is one, based on downloading your 2007 playlist and examining it:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<playlist>
<title>Playlist name goes here</title>
<tracklist>
<track><location>file:///track 1 goes here.mp3</location></track>
<track><location>file:///and so on.mp3</location></track>
</tracklist>
</playlist>

I'm getting this error, too, but on the PodWorks side of things. Here are the details of my system. Disk mode is not an issue since it is an iPhone:
Error message - I get these for a variety of files from different sources:
iTunes Transfer Error
Unable to transfer song "Little Brittle" to iTunes due to error: File Macintosh HD:Lirbary:Application Support:PodWorks:Temp:DOKJ.mv4 wasn't found.
-43
Computer:
10.4.11
MBP 2.16 GHz, 2GB ram
iTunes:
7.5
iPhone:
8GB, version 1.0.2, jailbroken
And for what its worth, I paid for my license.

The subtleties of iPhone badness1. There is a limit on the number of SMS messages it can store! A real WTF moment for a 4/8GB device. I expected better.
2. As you add more user data to the phone (email, SMS, etc.) the UI's snappiness turns instead to multi-second waits for the content to render.
3. People talk a lot about the battery life being bad. I don't think its that so much as it is the very long charging time. The subtle thing is that when I come home, I am fine leaving my iPod to charge for hours and hours, but not so much my mobile phone.

I tried twice to post a topic in the iPhone sectionWhen I click on any of the Topics buttons at the bottom, the buttons just swap for an interstitial, and then swap back. Meanwhile, my topic stays unposted.
