Do you back up protected accounts?
I have a protected account, ie: non-public. Can it still be backed up?

I'm with you there, sister. Seriously, Eston... I think Twitter's a weirdly schizophrenic tool. People who did it to avoid the whole Facebook friending/too many apps 'thing' taking over their lives don't tend to have thousands of followers, but are really committed and interesting 'early adopters'. The second wave are people who gather thousands of followers but in fact don't really use Twitter that much. It's possible that those people will not deliver the level of commitment that you want from your players.

Er. Or something. – Cait hurley, on June 15, 2009 10:09

I've talked about this before though - the big issue with assassinations is that you absolutely have to have a huge number of Spymasters. I keep my twitter to my friends only, not a MySpace-like follower absorbing monster, consequently, at level 16 right now, the only people I can assassinate are teeny pipsqueaks who I feel a bit mean biting (therefore don't). Can we rebalance away from the number of followers thing *quickly* now, and push toward subtler bluffing skills? – Cait hurley, on June 15, 2009 09:32

Remove power dependency on size of network
Don't make the overall power you have dependent on the size of your spy ring. you're encouranging the kind of weird, spammy use of Twitter that DFacebook/myspace gets (ie: huh, I've got 5000 friends!"). Better to adapt the game in to a more social sphere, so that you can start to do real set ups with your network.
There's alot of similarity with Monoply here, and you can occupy very similar space giventhat every player has a slightly different venn diagram of friends. People can start to do deals, bluff, set people up...all kind of really rather vicious game play! The other key reminder point is Risk.

I've got to the point, because I enjoy Twitter as a close knit community of good friends and not a mass broadcast system, that it's totally pointless me trying to assassinate anyone except people on Level 1 or 2. I find that a little bit nasty, given that they'vwe only just started the game, and the winnings are pathetic. So cutting the strength away from the size of your network = very good idea.

Black market purchases - no difference to attack or defense sums
black market purchases are not adding to my Defence / Attack points. It doesn't matter how many I purchase - so I've basically wasted a ton of cash given that I have thee things but I'm still relatively defenseless and weak!

User name = Zoonie (and you are bound by the code of honour, you other users, to not try to assassinate me until way after this is sorted out)

Right now, I'm basically stuck. I can't kill anyone because the assassinations are nearly all way too risky, I can't seem to add any more points to my defense etc no matter how many flak vests and so on I buy, and I can't do any tasks to increase my available cash.

So I actually can't play the game.

    Wake up somebody!

    Tasks pane not activating tasks
The tasks pane has stopped working completely for me.

I'm on PC, XP, using FF 3.0.10

Basically, I click - nothing happens. It's all a sneaky plot by you CIA operatives!
