Importing contacts from twitter returns hundreds of useless results.

I attempted to import my contacts from Twitter, but all it imported were hundreds of people with the same given name as a few of my Twitter contacts, which is completely worthless to me. I have no way of telling if these people are actually my contacts, and chances are, none of them are.
